We collect the following information when you create an account or use our service:

- Username — your public display name on the platform
- Display name and bio — optional profile information you provide
- Ratings and reviews — game scores and written reviews you submit
- Game lists — games you add to your played/playing/wishlist
- IP address — used for rate limiting to prevent abuse
If you sign in with Google, we receive your name and email address from Google. We do not receive your Google password.
How We Use Your Data
- To display your public profile, ratings, and reviews
- To calculate community scores for games
- To authenticate your identity when you sign in
- To prevent abuse (rate limiting registrations and submissions)
- To improve the platform based on usage patterns
We do not sell your personal data to third parties. We do not use your data for advertising.
Third-Party Services
We use the following third-party services to operate VAULTD.gg:
- Supabase— database hosting (PostgreSQL). Your data is stored securely on Supabase's infrastructure.
- Vercel — application hosting and deployment. Server logs may include IP addresses and request metadata.
- RAWG.io — game data API. Game search queries are forwarded to RAWG. We do not send personal data.
- Google OAuth — optional sign-in provider. Only used if you choose to sign in with Google.
Data Retention
Your account data is retained as long as your account is active. You may request account deletion by contacting us. Upon deletion, your ratings and reviews will be anonymized or removed.
Your Rights
You have the right to:
- Access the personal data we hold about you
- Request correction of inaccurate data
- Request deletion of your account and associated data
- Export your ratings and reviews
