VAULTD.gg ("we", "us", "our") is committed to protecting your privacy. This policy explains what data we collect, how we use it, and your rights regarding your personal information.

We collect the following information when you create an account or use our service:

• Email address — for account identification and authentication
• Username — your public display name on the platform
• Display name and bio — optional profile information you provide
• Ratings and reviews — game scores and written reviews you submit
• Game lists — games you add to your played/playing/wishlist
• IP address — used for rate limiting to prevent abuse

If you sign in with Google, we receive your name and email address from Google. We do not receive your Google password.

• To display your public profile, ratings, and reviews
• To calculate community scores for games
• To authenticate your identity when you sign in
• To prevent abuse (rate limiting registrations and submissions)
• To improve the platform based on usage patterns

We do notsell your personal data to third parties. We show third-party advertising (see "Advertising & Cookies" below), but we do not share the account data listed above with advertisers.

We use the following third-party services to operate VAULTD.gg:

• Supabase— database hosting (PostgreSQL). Your data is stored securely on Supabase's infrastructure.
• Vercel — application hosting and deployment. Server logs may include IP addresses and request metadata.
• RAWG.io — game data API. Game search queries are forwarded to RAWG. We do not send personal data.
• Google OAuth — optional sign-in provider. Only used if you choose to sign in with Google.
• Google AdSense — serves advertising on the site. AdSense uses cookies to deliver and measure ads (see below).

VAULTD.gg uses Google AdSense to display advertisements. To do this, Google and its partners may use cookies and similar technologies.

• Third-party vendors, including Google, use cookies to serve ads based on your prior visits to this and other websites.
• Google's use of advertising cookies enables it and its partners to serve ads to you based on your visit to VAULTD.gg and/or other sites on the Internet.
• You can opt out of personalized advertising by visiting Google Ads Settings. You can also opt out of some third-party vendors' use of cookies at aboutads.info/choices.

When you message another member we store the message text, who sent it, who received it, and when it was sent and read. Messages are private between the two people in the conversation — they are never shown publicly, never indexed by search engines, and never used to build advertising profiles.

Messages are not end-to-end encrypted. They are stored on our server and site administrators can access them where necessary to investigate a report of abuse, comply with a legal obligation, or protect someone's safety. Please do not send anything you would not want a moderator to be able to read.

Every message is checked automatically against a content filter before it is delivered. Rejected messages are not stored or delivered.

If you block someone, neither of you can message the other, and any follow between your accounts is removed. If you report someone, we store the report, the reason you gave, and a reference to the conversation so it can be reviewed.

Deleting your account deletes your conversations, messages, blocks and reports along with it.

Your account data is retained as long as your account is active. You may request account deletion by contacting us. Upon deletion, your ratings and reviews will be anonymized or removed.

You have the right to:

• Access the personal data we hold about you
• Request correction of inaccurate data
• Request deletion of your account and associated data
• Export your ratings and reviews
